Brief Overview
Diammonium Phosphate is a water-soluble ammonium salt that is one of the most widely used phosphorus fertilizer because of it’s relatively high nutrient content.
Manufacturing Process
Diammonium phosphate is manufactured by reacting phosphoric acid with ammonia in a controlled reaction, where the hot slurry is then cooled, granulated, and sieved. It contains two ammonia molecules and one of the ammonia molecules will revert to ammonia in alkaline condition which will make it an excellent fit for low PH soil.
Agricultural Industry: Used as fertilisers for crops such as fruits, rice, vegetables, etc and feed additives.
